Short post

Thanks for all the well wishes this week. By Friday, I tested negative for Covid. I’ll plan to head back to school on Monday.

Sadly (despite being vaccinated for Shingles), the Covid must have weakened my defenses. Because I then came down with Shingles. Ugh. The itching on my back is driving me crazy. I hope it clears up fast!

I did get a spray at the pharmacy that is helping reduce the itching.

This week, I read several books, watched too much Netflix, and I slept a lot (10-12 hours per day). And that’s been my week.

    Hello my friend,
    I am so sorry about the covid diagnosis…ugh! Now shingles, ok so rough patch right now, but this too shall pass. I’m glad the spray is giving you some relief. You will get through all of this and look back and say remember when…and smile or laugh!!

    You got both Shingrix (Recombinant DNA) vaccinations and still got Shingles. That’s shitty. My dr. has been on my ass to prove that I have had both of the recombinant DNA vaccinations. In the process, I discovered a Colorado Department of Health site that lists all of the immunizations that you have had in the state of Colorado. very handy:
